Job Summary

The Outreach Coordinator for the Burn Program is responsible for developing, aligning, and retaining referrals from market physicians and referring hospitals for burn services in addition to educating community and related stakeholders of the services available.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to identify and retain referrals from market physicians and referring hospitals.
  • Collaborate with the clinical team to provide education and training to community and related stakeholders on burn services.
  • Plan and provide clinical education in collaboration with members of the clinical and outreach team.
  • Facilitate the retention of physician relationships, referring hospital relationships, and community relationships.
  • Develop and provide education in a variety of settings, including but not limited to EMS departments, ED departments, and staff and community events.
  • Coordinate the development and implementation of education designed to convey specialized knowledge and skills to the target audience.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in field of Nursing, Physical Therapy, or other closely related field.
  • Two or more years of experience in a Burn care setting preferred.
  • Valid TN license (or eligible) required.
  • BLS required.
  • ABLS Certification required within 1 year of hire.
