Job Summary

The Academic Administrative Coordinator will provide administrative support to the Kenneth P. Dietrich School of Arts and Sciences. This role will oversee the course scheduling process, work with faculty and staff to coordinate course management and maintenance, and provide information to students, parents, and faculty regarding academic advising policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate course scheduling and room assignments
  • Manage classroom equipment inventory and maintenance
  • Serve as liaison to the University Registrar
  • Provide information and support to students, parents, and faculty
  • Market the Undergraduate unit via social media and events
  • Perform various administrative and student services duties
Requirements

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of academic administration and a ability to work effectively with faculty, staff, and students. They must be able to use a computer extensively and have excellent communication and organizational skills.

Work Environment

This position is generally sedentary within an office setting, but the ability to travel around campus is occasionally necessary. The incumbent will be responsible for initiation and participation of daily support functions for faculty, staff, and students within the division.
