About the Role:

Carnegie Mellon University seeks a detail-oriented and organized Administrative Assistant to join its team. As a key member of the Architecture department, you will provide administrative support to the team, ensuring the smooth operation of daily tasks and projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the Architecture team, including scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and coordinating travel arrangements.
  • Assist with data entry, record-keeping, and filing.
  • Develop and maintain spreadsheets, reports, and other documents as needed.
  • Coordinate meetings, events, and other activities.
  • Perform other administrative tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of administrative experience.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
