UDR Consulting is seeking a skilled Low Voltage Systems Engineer to enhance our team and support critical projects in the field of electrical engineering.

Work Environment: On-Site
Per diem is available for qualified candidates.

Our organization plays a pivotal role in the management of specialized waste, ensuring safe and secure storage solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform engineering calculations and analyses within established parameters, supported by thorough documentation.
  • Engage collaboratively with departments including Quality Assurance, Procurement, Project Management, and Operations.
  • Offer technical guidance in the field to resolve equipment issues.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of system configurations, including drawings, specifications, and assessments.
  • Keep abreast of annual training requirements pertinent to engineering practices.
  • Conduct electrical assessments on current systems, ensure compliance with regulations, and oversee design modifications.
Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent Professional Engineer license is preferred.
  • Familiarity with NFPA 70 (National Electric Code) and NFPA 70E (Electrical Safety Standard in the Workplace) is beneficial.
  • Experience in Low Voltage, Lighting, and industrial systems is advantageous.
  • 6 to 10+ years of engineering experience in design or systems engineering is required.
  • A Professional Engineers (PE) license is a plus.
  • Specialized knowledge in Electrical Distribution, Transformers, Rotating Equipment, Motor Control Centers, and Control Systems is highly desirable.
  • US Citizenship is necessary due to the nature of the work.
