Join a leading organization in the management of nuclear waste disposal, specifically focused on Transuranic (TRU) waste. Salado Isolation Mining Contractors is actively seeking a skilled individual to fill the role of Nuclear Facility Operations Coordinator.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Facility Operations Shift Engineer by applying fundamental knowledge of equipment and maintenance.
- Provide operational support to technical teams and ensure adherence to relevant operating procedures.
- Perform routine administrative tasks, including the creation of purchase requisitions and training materials, as well as maintaining operating logs and records.
- Fulfill the responsibilities of a TRMSA operator while supporting other site functions.
- Obtain and maintain Emergency Response Team training and qualifications, responding effectively to emergencies.
- Achieve and uphold respiratory qualifications.

Minimum Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- An Associate's degree coupled with two (2) years of relevant work experience, or a High School Diploma (or equivalent) with four (4) years of work experience.
- A minimum of one (1) year of hands-on operational experience in industrial-type operations, including electrical systems, HVAC, and control room operations.
- Candidates must be at least 18 years old and U.S. citizenship is required, except in limited circumstances.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in control room operations.
- Familiarity with HVAC systems.
- Knowledge of 13.8kv substations and distribution systems.
- Understanding of vacuum systems and compressed air.

Salary Information:
The minimum salary for this position is $67,817 per year, with the potential for a higher salary based on relevant experience and education.
