Job Summary:

Trios Health is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Documentation Specialist to join our team. As a Clinical Documentation Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of patient documentation, while also collaborating with physicians and coding staff to improve the quality of care provided.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and collaborate with physicians and coding staff to review and revise clinical documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Capture clinical severity and translate it into coded data to support the level of service rendered to relevant patient populations.
  • Provide education and training to physicians and members of the patient care team on clinical documentation best practices.
  • Facilitate modifications to clinical documentation to improve quality and completeness.
