POSITION OVERVIEW:
In this pivotal role, you will spearhead the creation, implementation, and sustainability of Benchmark's operational excellence initiatives.

Your responsibilities will include the development, execution, and communication of the company's quality and manufacturing engineering strategies, encompassing quality programs and global process excellence initiatives such as Lean, Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement, Regulatory Compliance, and Health and Safety.

You will advocate for the recognition of Company quality programs among clients and devise employee communication and training initiatives.

Additionally, you will oversee the development and execution of the Global Quality System, which includes customer and internal audit programs, deviation management, change control, quality management systems, quality training, and data collection and reporting.

You will provide quality oversight and consulting to resolve critical quality-related challenges and serve as the escalation point for customer quality concerns.


QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in engineering or business; a master's degree or MBA is preferred.
10+ years of experience in Electronics Manufacturing Services, Contract Manufacturing, or equivalent OEM.
10+ years of leadership experience in quality, lean, continuous improvement, or manufacturing engineering within a manufacturing setting.
Strategic vision coupled with tactical implementation capabilities.
Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to influence all organizational levels.
Proven track record as a change agent.

Expertise in methodologies associated with Lean (Six Sigma Black Belt, 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, etc.).


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


Define Benchmark's strategic direction and roadmap while managing policy deployment in manufacturing, testing, capability, lean manufacturing, quality, cost reduction, timely delivery, and safety.

Identify, communicate, and drive the implementation of capital investments and improvement projects.
Lead efforts to enhance manufacturing operational excellence in alignment with both short-term and long-term business objectives and strategies.

Promote high operational standards and collaborate with site manufacturing management to effectively apply lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, continuous improvement, and EHS protocols.

Work alongside senior leadership to establish appropriate metrics that drive and monitor continuous improvement, ensuring alignment with the business plan.

Develop and monitor plans to enhance quality (COPQ) and implement defect prevention processes to create value.
Oversee the review and process development of new technologies.

Collaborate with segments, customers, engineering, process engineering, and manufacturing to ensure new technologies are accurately quoted and can be produced with acceptable yields while fulfilling customer requirements.

Monitor critical builds throughout the manufacturing cycle to ensure successful outcomes, adjusting processes as necessary. Provide feedback to relevant groups on process adjustments that impact pricing, cycle times, manufacturing techniques, and tooling requirements.
Establish and implement global standards and frameworks for equipment, testing, and automation.
Execute standards, methods, and procedures to assess product release readiness

Ensure best practices are developed and shared across sites, monitor progress towards goals, and assist with tools, training, and resources as needed.

Encourage suppliers to adopt Lean practices in their operations to enhance capabilities.
Foster a vision that empowers management to enable employees to take ownership and engage in tactical actions.

EDUCATION:
