Key Responsibilities- Develop and Maintain Operational Resilience Policy: Create and maintain an overarching operational resilience policy that aligns with regulatory requirements and MUFG's strategic objectives.
- Build Awareness and Understanding: Develop and implement strategies to build awareness and understanding of operational resilience across the Combined US Operations (CUSO).
- Maintain Strong Collaborative Relationships: Establish and maintain strong collaborative relationships with key stakeholders, including senior management and business partners.
- Develop Methodology for Critical Operations Identification: Develop a methodology to enable the identification of critical operations and ensure that they are properly monitored and managed.
- Establish and Assess Resilience Critical Operations Process: Establish and assess the process to monitor resilience critical operations, including defining requirements for monitoring and metrics, assessing and reporting adherence to program requirements, and escalating non-compliance or risk appetite breaches.
- Establish and Assess Impact Tolerances Process: Establish and assess the process to set and review impact tolerances on a periodic basis or following a trigger event.
- 6+ years' experience in operational resilience, operational risk, or business continuity risk management.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and core competencies across the key areas of operational resilience, business resilience, technology/cyber resilience, third-party resilience, ongoing monitoring, and/or risk governance.
- Previous experience working in the financial services sector.
- Experience in driving and shaping program strategy as well as the implementation of program uplift and change.
- Previous experience working in a regulatory change program.
- Project Management skills, including the ability to identify and resolve risks and issues, use project management experience and knowledge to drive focus on effective and timely delivery of activities, and develop solutions to complex problems.
- Communication and influencing skills, including the ability to advocate for operational resilience, build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, and persuade and include others using a range of approaches to achieve deliverables.
MUFG Bank, Ltd. offers a competitive salary range of $125K - $160K, depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
