Position: Business Operations Manager, Financial Services

The chosen candidate will benefit from a flexible work arrangement, spending four days at MUFG offices or client locations and one day working remotely. You will work alongside a supportive recruitment team that values your professional growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in budgeted workforce reporting, analysis, and review for one or more technology divisions
  • Optimize business processes to align with strategic priorities, utilize automation, and encourage entrepreneurial thinking
  • Provide strategic direction to improve consistency and standardization across business units
  • Collaborate with the Project Management Office to ensure alignment of business unit strategies with annual objectives
  • Oversee and manage financial plans and cost controls for business units
  • Track financial expenditures, including vendor costs, maintenance renewals, and external expenses
  • Engage in stakeholder communications, leadership meetings, and management routines
  • Facilitate staff meetings, town halls, and leadership communications for technology divisions
  • Ensure timely completion of deliverables for governance and management routines
  • Lead and support ad hoc projects for business leaders as needed
  • Establish a Planview Center of Excellence for Business Manager and Resource Manager functions

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Operations, Business/Management, or Finance
  • 8+ years of professional and leadership experience
  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in Finance or Business Management
  • Strong communication skills suitable for large team environments
  • Experience in budget management, planning, and business cycles
  • Prior experience in a financial services organization is preferred
  • Excellent skills in risk assessment and analysis
  • Ability to drive process enhancements and identify risks
  • Proven history of successful project delivery and understanding of financial markets
  • Familiarity with Portfolio Management tools such as Planview

The salary range for this position is between $149K - $1K, contingent on experience and location. Additionally, candidates may qualify for performance-based bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package, including health, wellness, retirement plans, educational assistance, and more.
