Role Overview
This position is integral to a team dedicated to implementing security initiatives aimed at protecting Capital Market's information systems. The Senior Application Security Engineer will collaborate closely with the development teams to ensure adherence to the Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC) and enterprise security policies.

Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a subject matter expert, leveraging expertise to address complex security challenges while adhering to established policies and guidelines.
- Ensure that all code scanning vulnerabilities comply with organizational standards, working with developers to rectify issues prior to production deployment.
- Engage with development and security architecture teams on application security topics, including vulnerability remediation and best practices.
- Manage code scanning tools and oversee daily operations related to application security.
- Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to assess application security risks in collaboration with the Americas Division's Application Security and Testing teams.
- Generate and present comprehensive management reports on the status of the Application Security Program within Capital Markets.

Qualifications
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in software development with a strong emphasis on application security.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, C++, Java, Python, and .Net.
- Ability to analyze and comprehend code deficiencies effectively.
- Experience in developing and enhancing CI/CD pipelines concerning code quality and vulnerability detection.
- Familiarity with Static Application Security Testing (SAST) and Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST) for at least 4 years.
- Understanding of container security issues and technologies for a minimum of 2 years.
- In-depth knowledge of the Secure Software Development Lifecycle and OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities.
