Available Position: Senior Solutions Engineer

This role demands dedicated support engineers with diverse expertise, ranging from desktop support to network management. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.


Certifications: CCNA, CCIE, Network+, ITIL Foundation, or equivalent experience.

Essential Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Cisco network engineer.
  • Expertise in troubleshooting Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Comprehensive understanding of VLANs, spanning tree protocols, and routing protocols.
  • Solid grasp of IP protocols (IPv4 addressing, UDP, TCP, DNS, DHCP) for effective issue resolution.
  • Familiarity with network monitoring tools.
  • Experience with ASA and/or Fortinet firewalls, including configuration and troubleshooting.
  • Proficient in creating and managing ASA and/or Fortinet firewalls.
  • Extensive experience in establishing, rerouting, and maintaining VPN tunnels.
  • Capability to plan routing modifications and firewall adjustments.
  • Ability to migrate VPN tunnels.
  • Wireless networking knowledge is a significant advantage.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Server and Storage Management:

  • Capability to install network operating systems and perform complex upgrades.
  • Advanced troubleshooting of operating systems.
  • Expertise in network/local printing, including shared faxing and scanning.
  • Advanced network administration, including directory and domain troubleshooting.
  • Management of group policies.
  • Cluster hardware configuration experience.
  • Virtual server administration (Hyper-V/VMware).
  • General NAS/SAN administration skills.
  • Implementation of patch management processes for servers using solutions like SUS, WUS, and SCCM.
  • Maintenance of network backup solutions.
  • Integration of macOS with Active Directory.
  • Familiarity with Google Apps.

Design and Project Documentation:

  • Basic infrastructure design, including IP addressing and subnetting.
  • Server-centric diagramming and documentation.
  • General network diagramming and documentation.
  • Helpdesk reporting and ticket management.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science degree preferred but not mandatory.
  • Note: Candidates must comply with fingerprinting and background checks as required by clients.
