Sales and Marketing Coordinator

La Cigale Hotel, a renowned landmark in Doha, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sales and Marketing Coordinator to join its team. As a key member of the Sales and Marketing department, you will play a vital role in supporting the team in achieving its sales and marketing objectives.
Key Responsibilities:- Sales Support: Prepare sales-related documents, including group proposals, group resumes, and contracts, to facilitate business growth and expansion.
- Administrative Support: Perform general office duties, such as filing, sending emails, typing, faxing, and copying, to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
- Business Development: Establish an efficient trace file to ensure all business booked is properly recorded, and prepare and disseminate month-end reports to track progress.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring prompt and courteous service to both internal and external customers, and escort general inquiries on-site inspections to build strong relationships.
- Communication: Prioritize all telephone calls and in-person visitors, scheduling appointments as required, and maintain a positive relationship with all guests, vendors, colleagues, and global sales network.
- Marketing Support: Ensure all sales promotional literature is current and updated, and update convention bureau lists to stay ahead of the competition.
- Administrative Support: Provide administrative support for the Sales office, and assist with the maintenance of accounts, contacts, activity, and business details within appropriate software applications.
- Experience: Previous sales or administrative experience preferred, with a strong understanding of business development and growth strategies.
- Skills: Computer literate in Microsoft Windows applications and/or relevant computer applications required, with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Education: University/College degree in a related discipline is an asset, with a strong foundation in business principles and practices.
- Personal Qualities: Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities, with a high level of responsibility and reliability, and the ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.
