POSITION SUMMARY

The Hardware Partnerships division is dedicated to delivering the finest Google software and hardware solutions to our customers by marketing and distributing a Google-branded hardware lineup. This team oversees all collaborations with carriers on a regional scale, focusing on products such as Pixel, Nest, and Google Services.

ROLE OVERVIEW: The Carrier team is centered on Google-branded hardware across various product lines. Our responsibilities include managing relationships with leading carriers, formulating channel strategies, and achieving marketing and merchandising objectives to enhance market share. We collaborate across multiple functions, including marketing, product development, finance, and retail marketing, as well as with our carrier partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Regional Performance Management: Collaborate with regional partners to devise strategies that identify and enhance the performance of underperforming markets, creating pilot programs, incentives, and events to boost regional sales.
  • Business Development & Strategic Planning: Spearhead regional business planning and strategy formulation based on partner opportunities, while analyzing and reporting on regional insights and field research.
  • Relationship Management: Cultivate and strengthen partnerships with regional leadership at carrier organizations.
  • Incentive Development: Create and implement regional sales incentives, analyzing the impact and return on investment.
  • Launch Coordination: Ensure seamless execution of product launches at the regional level.
  • Program Execution: Lead the execution of regional programs, promotions, training sessions, and events by coordinating with the regional carrier team and cross-functional teams.

Travel Requirements: Up to 80% travel within the Southern United States.

Essential Duties:

  • Drive the sell-out of Google products through innovative strategies and strong relationships at the carrier level.
  • Oversee daily operations for Google's retail presence, including necessary travel.
  • Analyze key performance metrics to derive insights and pursue enhancements.
  • Build influential relationships with carrier partners at the regional level.
  • Ensure effective implementation and ongoing management of customer programs and new product offerings.
  • Collaborate with third-party vendors to meet service level agreements and contractual obligations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years in carrier channel field sales and operations.
  • Comprehensive understanding of carrier channel dynamics, economics, and incentives.
  • Established relationships within regional or district carrier headquarters and adept at navigating market dynamics.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
