Key Responsibilities
  • Database Management: Design, maintain, and support database systems, including installation and modification of data systems utilizing IIS with SQL back-end.
  • System Upgrades: Execute upgrades, configurations, and installations to fulfill customer requirements.
  • SQL Administration: Serve as the primary SQL administrator for network operations.
  • Network Design and Support: Oversee local and wide area network management, including Windows Server and VMware vSphere administration.
  • Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Develop maintenance plans, conduct backups, and perform basic network troubleshooting using PowerShell and SSMS.
  • Website Error Resolution: Address and repair IIS internal website errors within SQL.
  • Network Monitoring: Utilize Orion SolarWinds for server and network monitoring, responding to alerts and warnings.
  • Reporting: Generate and compile reports for customer review and metric tracking.
  • Basic Network Configuration: Demonstrate fluency in basic network setup and configuration.
  • Printer and System Management: Administer printers and manage System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM).
Required Qualifications
  • Proficiency in IIS, VBS/Visual Studios, Windows Server (Desktop & Enterprise), and SQL databases.
  • Experience with SolarWinds and VMware in creating, monitoring, deploying, and managing servers and devices in virtualized environments.
  • Familiarity with Intune, Azure, Blackberry UEM, and Mobile Device Management (MDM). Knowledge of Active Directory DS permissions, object, and schema management.
  • Ability to modify and implement basic scripts in PowerShell and command line for remote network management.
  • Understanding of basic networking principles, including DNS, IP protocols, and IPv4/IPv6 configuration.
  • Experience in patch management, ACAS, and STIGs for vulnerability management, utilizing Microsoft Software Center for updates.
  • Basic knowledge of NetApp and HP3PAR SAN and NAS systems.
  • Clearance Level: Secret.
  • Certifications: CompTIA Security+CE and CompTIA Server+CE.
