Position Summary: The Production Control II role is pivotal in orchestrating, analyzing, and documenting the flow of materials across manufacturing sectors while effectively communicating the program's overall status. This position liaises with all departments to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality products to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the accuracy of the Bill of Material (BOM).

• Collaborate with the Planning department to guarantee that the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system produces the correct production schedule.

• Oversee project part shortages.

• Assist the Planning department, including the creation of Bills of Material.

• Address issues with Purchasing and Manufacturing.

• Coordinate with Engineering for drawing releases and design enhancements.

• Work with the Spares Department regarding pricing and lead times.

• Review Material Review Board (MRB) findings and coordinate with necessary departments for resolution.

• Collaborate with production teams to troubleshoot production-related issues.

• Engage in initiatives to enhance lean product flow.

• Generate and maintain weekly Material Availability Reports (MAR).

• Communicate project details to shipping, storage, quality, and program management teams.

• Mentor and guide Production Control I team members.

• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by management.

Knowledge and Experience:

• Minimum age of 18 years.

• High School diploma required; further education preferred.

• At least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing setting, ideally within aerospace.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

• Forklift experience and certification preferred.

• Comfortable interacting with all organizational levels.

• FAA A&P certificate is a plus but not mandatory.

Skills and Abilities:

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.

• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively under pressure.

• Strong analytical skills and technical aptitude.

• Basic mathematical proficiency.

Working Conditions:

• Primarily office-based work (approximately 90%).

• Occasional manufacturing environment exposure (approximately 10%).

• Flexibility in hours may be required.

Physical Requirements:

• Occasional lifting of up to 35 pounds.

• Normal hearing and vision are essential for safe operations in the manufacturing environment.
