Position Summary: The Production Control II role is pivotal in overseeing, analyzing, and documenting the flow of materials through various manufacturing sectors while ensuring effective communication regarding the program's overall status. This position collaborates with all departments to guarantee timely delivery of high-quality products to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure the precision of the Bill of Material (BOM).
• Collaborate with the Planning department to confirm that the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system is producing the correct production schedules.
• Manage and address project part shortages effectively.
• Assist the Planning department in creating Bills of Material.
• Work alongside Purchasing and Manufacturing to resolve exceptions.
• Coordinate with Engineering for drawing releases and design enhancements.
• Liaise with the Spares Department regarding pricing and lead times.
• Review Material Review Board (MRB) issues and collaborate with relevant departments for resolution.
• Engage with production staff to troubleshoot production-related challenges.
• Participate in initiatives aimed at enhancing lean product flow.
• Generate and maintain weekly Material Availability Reports (MAR).
• Communicate project specifics to shipping, storage, quality, and program management teams.
• Mentor and guide Production Control I personnel.
• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by management.

Knowledge and Experience:
• Minimum age of 18 years.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing setting, preferably in production control related to aerospace.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Forklift experience and certification preferred.
• Comfortable interacting with all organizational levels.
• FAA A&P certificate is a plus but not mandatory.
Skills and Abilities:
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines effectively.
• Strong analytical skills and technical aptitude.
• Basic mathematical calculation skills.
• Understanding of customer expectations.
Working Conditions:
• Primarily office-based work (approximately 90%).
• Occasional manufacturing environment exposure (approximately 10%).
• Flexibility for extended hours may be required.
Physical Requirements:
• Occasional lifting of up to 35 pounds.
• Normal hearing and vision capabilities are essential for safe operations on the manufacturing floor.
