Job Overview:

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking dedicated Quality Assurance Specialists at various experience levels to enhance our Quality Assurance Team in the Puget Sound region of Washington State.

Role Summary:

We are in search of professionals who are enthusiastic about resolving issues, collaborating with production processes, and conducting intricate data evaluations. Quality Assurance Specialists play a vital role in supporting ongoing production through methodologies aimed at reducing defects, enhancing verification systems, and ensuring adherence to established standards. Our specialists tackle complex engineering and production obstacles, significantly contributing to the ongoing enhancement of our quality management framework, products, and production methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate contractual and Boeing Quality Management System standards to determine relevance to specific proposals and program documentation.
  • Formulate sections of quality metrics, design, and production certification strategies to guarantee compliance with contractual, corporate, and regulatory standards.
  • Evaluate capability assessments to assist in supplier selection processes.
  • Engage in various reviews to ensure quality features are integrated into product designs.
  • Conduct data analysis to verify manufacturing and testing readiness.
  • Provide material review decisions for non-conformances.
  • Examine non-conformance patterns to assess the effectiveness of corrective measures.
  • Compile performance reports and statistical data to confirm that specified process capability levels are met.
  • Operate under general supervision.

Work Environment:

This position is expected to be fully onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work at one of the designated locations.

Export Control Compliance:

This position must comply with Export Control regulations, necessitating a "US Person" as defined by applicable laws.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in data collection, organization, analysis, and summarization of findings.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience or a combination of education and experience.
  • 9+ years of relevant work experience or a combination of education and experience.
  • Proven ability to address complex challenges through diverse methodologies.
  • Familiarity with Engineering and Change Processes.
  • Experience in analyzing engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Prior experience in multiple functions (quality assurance, industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, systems engineering, design engineering, etc.).
  • Lean Six Sigma (DMAIC) Blackbelt certification.
  • Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) Greenbelt or Blackbelt certification.
  • Experience in data analytics.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams.
  • Master's or Doctorate in Science/Engineering from an accredited institution.
