Job Overview

We are seeking a qualified candidate for the Human Resources Assistant position. This role reports directly to the Chief Human Resources Officer and is classified as a Regular, Full-Time, Non-Exempt position with a competitive hourly wage ranging from $26.92 to $28.94, along with comprehensive benefits.

Primary Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in various facets of the HR function, ensuring a seamless employee experience.
  2. Provide administrative support to the Chief HR Officer, including managing schedules, preparing documentation, and overseeing calendars.
  3. Conduct general administrative tasks for the HR department, such as organizing files, distributing correspondence, and maintaining records.
  4. Ensure the accurate and confidential maintenance of departmental records and employee information within our HRIS.
  5. Manage the HR email inbox, responding to employee inquiries or directing them to the appropriate HR personnel.
  6. Support event planning and assist in executing employee programs and activities across all organizational locations.
  7. Address high-level inquiries efficiently and ensure tasks are completed promptly.
  8. Handle sensitive information with discretion and facilitate communication among departments.
  9. Act as the primary contact for recruitment efforts, utilizing our Applicant Tracking System to screen candidates, schedule interviews, and communicate with applicants.
  10. Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires, including paperwork and follow-up during their introductory period.
  11. Possess a solid understanding of human resource functions.
  12. Ensure compliance with legal posting requirements within designated timeframes.
  13. Adhere to confidentiality and HIPAA regulations.

Qualifications:

  1. A Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Human Resources, or a combination of education and relevant experience totaling two or more years.
  2. Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is preferred.
