About the Role:

The Patient Service Representative will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support at MaineHealth. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for greeting patients in a friendly and courteous manner, answering telephones, scheduling appointments, and performing other general office duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect, verify, enter, and monitor patient information with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Assist with scheduling appointments, procedures, and tests.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of medical terminology.
