The Patient Services Representative will provide exceptional patient care and support to patients and families at Maine Medical Center. This role will be responsible for greeting patients in a friendly and courteous manner, answering telephones, scheduling appointments, and performing other general office duties as assigned.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, verify, enter, and monitor patient data while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to federal, state, and MaineHealth policies.
- Provide excellent communication and interpersonal skills to patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Utilize strong computer skills and knowledge of office equipment to efficiently manage patient data and perform administrative tasks.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
- Previous office experience with medical office experience helpful.
- Strong computer skills and knowledge of office equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to federal, state, and MaineHealth policies.
