Key Responsibilities

We are in search of a Regional Sales Manager to oversee our golf division in Northern California. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for golf and a proven track record of meeting and surpassing sales targets while expanding our market footprint.

As a Regional Sales Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Meeting annual sales targets and product category goals.
  • Enhancing Wilson's brand visibility and reputation among customers and consumers.
  • Conducting quarterly business reviews to assess account performance.
  • Building and nurturing strong relationships with key stakeholders in each account.
  • Creating merchandising strategies and layouts for accounts.
  • Recruiting and managing prominent teaching professionals to promote Wilson Golf.
Qualifications

This position requires a deep passion for golf, a bachelor's degree in business or a related discipline, and a minimum of three years of sales experience in packaged goods or a comparable field. Additional qualifications include:

In-depth knowledge of the golf market, products, and industry trends, including consumer behavior and competitive dynamics.

  • Experience in golf equipment sales or customer service.
  • Understanding of golf equipment and the significance of club fitting.
  • Familiarity with major golf brands and their products.
  • Ability to travel independently within the territory and work remotely.
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Outstanding organizational skills, analytical thinking, and strategic insight.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with SAP is a plus.
