Job Overview

Objective: The primary goal of this position is to deliver sales support and enhance the visibility of supplier brands through effective account management, sales execution, and communication, while ensuring outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate high levels of self-motivation and a results-driven approach, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and maintain attention to detail.
  • Exhibit strong sales and negotiation capabilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including extended shifts.
  • Possess excellent customer service skills and thrive in a collaborative team environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to interpret and understand invoices, load sheets, job orders, and installation instructions.
  • Competence in performing basic mathematical calculations.
  • Physical capability to handle products weighing up to 165 lbs and to hang merchandise.
  • Ability to climb ladders safely.
  • Endurance for repetitive lifting (up to 50 lbs overhead), bending, stooping, kneeling, crawling, and twisting.
  • Ability to push and pull loads up to 340 pounds using a two-wheeler.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Responsible for maintaining regular contact with assigned retail accounts to drive sales volume, enhance distribution, manage merchandise, and oversee pricing and shelf space.
  • Develop and nurture business relationships while delivering professional sales presentations based on sales data.
  • Ensure compliance with product freshness standards in assigned retail locations through diligent monitoring and rotation of stock.
  • Maintain an up-to-date mobility system for effective operations.
  • Facilitate the introduction of new product placements.
  • Utilize point-of-sale materials for merchandising efforts.
  • Expand shelf space and introduce new brands and packaging options.
  • Collaborate with the Accounts Receivable department to address credit-related issues, including the collection of overdue balances.
  • Make daily decisions regarding retail inventory levels, informed by historical sales data, market conditions, competitive activities, and promotional events.
  • Participate in sales and team meetings as directed by management, engaging in daily discussions with managers regarding sales strategies.
  • Contribute to evening and weekend promotional events as required.
  • Perform any additional tasks as assigned by the District Manager, Sales Manager, or Sales Director.

Experience and Education: Candidates must be at least 21 years old and possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record. A minimum of one year of experience in sales or merchandising within the beverage industry or grocery retail is preferred.

Work Environment: This role involves moderate physical exertion and may require exposure to varying weather conditions, as well as noise and fumes from vehicles.
