Key Responsibilities:
- Answer and triage incoming calls, directing patients to the appropriate department or individual.
- Schedule appointments, surgeries, and ancillary services, ensuring seamless coordination with our clinical teams.
- Verify patient insurance and process referrals, ensuring timely and accurate communication with our patients and providers.
- Sort and deposit mail and patient information, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
- Build and maintain physician appointment schedules, utilizing our scheduling system to optimize efficiency.
- Perform courier and transport services, ensuring the safe and timely delivery of medications and other essential items.
- Assist with all work assignments, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to teamwork.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of experience working with insurance companies and obtaining authorizations.
