Patient Service Coordinator

Cedars-Sinai Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled Patient Service Representative II to provide exceptional patient care and administrative support in our licensed clinics. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating patient appointments, surgeries, and ancillary services, while ensuring seamless communication with providers and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Answer and triage patient calls, directing them to the appropriate individuals or departments.
- Schedule and authorize appointments, surgeries, and ancillary services, ensuring timely and efficient processing.
- Verify patient insurance information and process referrals, maintaining accurate records and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Assist with mail and patient information sorting, deposition, and tracking, adhering to Cedars-Sinai standards.
- Provide administrative support to providers and staff, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- High School Diploma/GED required.
- 2+ years of experience working with insurance companies and obtaining authorizations.
