As a Marketing Specialist, your responsibilities will include:

  • Creating engaging marketing materials such as Statements of Qualifications (SOQs), proposals, interview presentations, and brochures, alongside non-pursuit related activities like marketing strategy and research.
  • Analyzing Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and collaborating with technical project managers to formulate strategic responses, ensuring high-quality proposals, SF 330s, custom packages, and presentations align with firm branding and style guidelines. This involves organizing and coordinating all proposal elements, including the development and integration of sales themes, with assistance as needed.
  • Ensuring compliance with RFQ/P requirements; organizing proposals and scheduling; drafting non-technical sections; editing technical content; customizing project descriptions and resumes; and collaborating with other prime or subconsultant firms.
  • Designing graphic concepts to reinforce proposal messages; compiling, formatting, and producing proposals; conducting proposal closeouts; and facilitating client debriefings.
  • Planning, executing, and coordinating various marketing support activities, including award submissions, presentations, conference assistance, press release creation, and marketing strategy development.
  • Conducting research to support business development efforts, including gathering information from news sources, websites, and industry publications, as well as identifying and nurturing peer contacts within client and professional organizations.
  • Performing additional duties or responsibilities as assigned.
To excel as a Marketing Specialist, you should possess:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field. Relevant work experience may substitute for a Bachelor's degree for candidates with an Associate's degree or high school diploma.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in a marketing role, with prior experience in an architecture/engineering firm or similar professional services environment being highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Familiarity with InDesign, Acrobat, and other Adobe software is strongly preferred.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and client service skills.
  • The ability and willingness to provide work samples during the interview process.
