Chewy is seeking a detail-oriented Product Category Specialist to join our team. The successful applicant will be responsible for overseeing category performance, leading strategic initiatives, and facilitating the integration of vendor partners, which includes negotiating business terms and assortment strategies. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional verbal and written communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to quickly assimilate information and experiences, applying insights effectively. Furthermore, the candidate should be adept at analyzing and conveying complex issues to both internal and external stakeholders. **What You Will Do:**

+ Enhance product category sales by spearheading the onboarding of vendor partners to optimize selection.

+ Drive strategic initiatives and develop process enhancements to boost team efficiency and performance.

+ Combine analytical insights with business acumen to create a cohesive category strategy and project roadmap.

+ Conduct thorough research, gather and analyze economic and statistical data, monitor market trends, and develop forecasts for our online operations.

+ Collaborate cross-functionally with teams in supply chain, private label, finance, catalog, and product management.

**What You Will Need:**

+ A completed BS/BA degree in Business Administration, Economics, Commerce, or a related analytical field.

+ A demonstrated interest and relevant internship experience in eCommerce, purchasing, account management, product management, category management, consulting, analytics, finance, or marketing.

+ A minimum of 1 year of experience in eCommerce, purchasing, account management, product management, category management, consulting, analytics, finance, or marketing.

+ Strong analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities (proficiency in Excel and SQL).

+ Willingness to travel as required.

**Compensation & Benefits:**

The salary range for the Product Category Specialist position is **$65,000 to $98,000.** The specific salary offered will depend on various factors, including the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location. This position is also eligible for a 401k plan and both new hire and annual equity grants.

We provide a variety of insurance options, including medical/Rx, vision, dental, life, disability, hospital indemnity, critical illness, and accident coverage. Additional benefits include parental leave, family services, backup dependent care, flexible spending accounts, telemedicine, pet adoption reimbursement, and numerous discounts.

Non-exempt hourly team members accrue paid time off (PTO), while salaried-exempt team members enjoy unlimited PTO, subject to managerial approval. Non-exempt hourly team members in specific roles may also qualify for additional unpaid time off. Team members receive six paid holidays annually and may be eligible for paid sick and family leave in accordance with applicable regulations.
