This role is centered around crafting and authoring proposals for prospective projects within our environmental, coastal, stormwater, and flood risk sectors, catering to federal, state, local, and commercial clientele.

Key Responsibilities of the Marketing Specialist:

Creating engaging marketing materials, including Statements of Qualifications (SOQs), proposals, presentations, and brochures, alongside non-pursuit related tasks such as marketing strategy and research.

Analyzing and reviewing Requests for Proposals (RFPs) while collaborating with technical project managers to formulate strategic responses and prepare high-quality proposals, SF 330s, custom packages, and presentations in alignment with company branding and style guidelines.

This entails organizing and coordinating all aspects of the proposal process, including the development and integration of sales themes, proposal compliance, scheduling, writing non-technical sections, editing technical content, tailoring project descriptions and resumes, and collaborating with other prime or subconsultant firms.

Developing visual concepts to reinforce proposal messages; compiling, formatting, and producing proposals; managing proposal closeout; and conducting client debriefings.

Planning, executing, and coordinating various marketing support activities, such as award submissions, conference assistance, press release creation, and marketing strategy development.

Conducting research to support business development efforts, including monitoring news, websites, industry news sources, and identifying and nurturing relationships with peers in client and professional organizations.

Additional duties or responsibilities may be assigned as necessary.

To excel as a Marketing Specialist, you should possess:
A Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field. Relevant work experience may substitute for a Bachelor's degree for candidates with an Associate's degree or high school diploma.
A minimum of three years of experience in a marketing role. Prior experience in an architecture/engineering firm or similar professional services environment is highly preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Familiarity with InDesign, Acrobat, and other Adobe software is strongly preferred.
Outstanding interpersonal and client service skills. The ability and willingness to provide work samples during the interview process.

A fair and equitable compensation package, including competitive base salary, flexible health benefits, and paid time off options.

The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $80,000; individual compensation will vary within this range based on your skills, qualifications, and experience as they relate to the requirements for this position.

Where applicable, the rate of pay will be offered as an hourly rate in accordance with state or local regulations.
