Administrative Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and skilled professional to support our Human Resources and Legal teams as an Administrative Coordinator. This role involves managing calendars, coordinating HR communications, organizing employee and committee meetings, overseeing the Wellness Program, helping to manage facilities, greeting guests, answering the main phone line, and running occasional UNM Foundation errands.
About the RoleThis is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to join a dynamic and collaborative team committed to supporting New Mexico's flagship university. As an Administrative Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our HR and Legal teams.
Key Responsibilities- Manage calendars and coordinate HR communications
- Organize employee and committee meetings
- Oversee the Wellness Program
- Help manage facilities
- Greet guests and answer the main phone line
- Run occasional UNM Foundation errands
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- A team player with a positive, can-do attitude
- Two years of related administrative experience, human resources experience, and/or a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
