Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Administrative Enrollment Specialist to join our team at Sage Truck Driving School. As a key member of our admissions team, you will be responsible for facilitating the selection and enrollment of qualified student applicants for school admission and assisting the School Director with day-to-day administration of basic office and school operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Comply with applicable federal and state laws and regulations, accreditor standards, and institutional policies and procedures related to student enrollment.
  • Receive and respond to in-bound inquiries and conduct outbound phone calls and emails to prospective students, utilizing approved telephone guidelines and scheduling appointments as needed.
  • Assess and interview prospective students to determine their needs and goals, and assess their ability to meet Federal Motor Carrier regulations.
  • Develop referrals and personal leads, and conduct tours of campus facilities to communicate features and benefits related to prospective student interest and program offerings.
  • Discuss payment options with prospective students, including third-party financing, in-house financing, workforce service/state agency funding, federal and state grants, vocational rehabilitation, veteran's administration, private pay, and other relevant options.
  • Follow up on all inquiries that fail to schedule an interview or fail to show for an interview, and enroll students who meet eligibility requirements, completing all required forms for enrollment and orientation.
  • Meet or exceed enrollment objectives, and prepare and compile all documents in student files for the first day of class.
  • Provide employer and placement information to students, and accurately record in the Student Management System.
  • Update and complete student transcripts and prepare graduation certificates.
  • Prepare invoices to students, agencies, and other trainees, process receipt of checks, cash, and credit card charges, and manage accounts payable invoices.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Prior post-secondary education experience preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Working knowledge of office equipment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including problem-solving and conflict resolution.
