Job Summary

The Assistant Front Office Manager is a key member of our hotel's operations team, responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient management of the front desk and guest services. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the front desk and guest services, ensuring that all guests receive a warm and welcoming experience.
  • Work closely with the sales and reservations teams to fulfill special requests and ensure seamless execution of group and VIP arrivals.
  • Assist with guest reception, responding to guest inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Communicate effectively with guests, team members, and other departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Lead guest service training initiatives and maintain a high level of knowledge on hotel policies and procedures.
  • Supervise and train front desk staff, ensuring that they are equipped to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including guest profiles and daily receipts.
  • Stay up-to-date with hotel events and functions, ensuring that all staff are aware of any changes or updates.
  • Participate in M.O.D. coverage as required and maintain regular attendance in compliance with hotel standards.
Requirements
  • 4-year college degree and at least 1 year of related experience required.
  • Supervisory experience and proficiency in Windows, company-approved spreadsheets, and word processing required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
Working Conditions

This role requires the ability to stand for long periods, with occasional lifting of up to 20 pounds. A high level of energy and enthusiasm is required to deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.
