Job Summary:

As a Compliance and Data Coordinator at Adventist Health, you will play a critical role in consolidating and processing data gathering results to support administrative functions. This includes compiling regulatory compliance components, obtaining insurance authorizations, and providing updates on coding and billing procedures. You will also coordinate small programs with limited budgets and impact, applying your knowledge and experience to perform advanced activities and determine resource allocation to meet schedules and goals. As a working supervisor for a team or work group, you will oversee staff competency completion, monitor compliance with documentation, billing, and staff requirements, and maintain ongoing authorization for Office of Medical Assistance Programs (OMAP) and worker's compensation insurances.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage staff competency completion and monitor compliance with documentation, billing, and staff requirements
  • Coordinate daily activities and functions of PI program, including managing ongoing authorization for OMAP and worker's compensation insurances
  • Maintain monthly statistics, physician referrals, insurance verifications, and authorization, and monitor productivity and charge accuracy
  • Review patient charts for accuracy and treatment outcomes
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • High School Education/GED or equivalent: Preferred
  • Associate's/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Preferred
  • Five years' relevant experience: Preferred
