Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop and articulate a compelling vision for the organization, inspiring staff and community members.
  • Formulate and implement strategic plans that align with the mission, utilizing data-driven insights to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Promote a culture of diversity, teamwork, and excellence.

Financial Oversight:

  • Collaborate with the Treasurer to ensure the financial stability of the organization, including accurate reporting and compliance with regulations.
  • Design and execute strategies to diversify funding sources, including grants and donations.
  • Provide timely analyses of fundraising efforts and financial performance.

Program Development:

  • Lead the design and implementation of programs that meet community needs.
  • Oversee daily operations to ensure effective management of services.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations regarding childcare programs.

Community Engagement:

  • Act as the primary representative for The Neighborhood Center, fostering relationships with community members and stakeholders.
  • Maintain strong connections with the United Methodist Church and its affiliates.

Facility and Human Resource Management:

  • Assess facility needs and implement maintenance plans.
  • Develop and execute a talent management strategy to build a high-performing team.
  • Ensure compliance with personnel policies and conduct regular performance evaluations.
Qualifications

Education:

  • Master's degree in relevant fields or Bachelor's degree with significant experience in administration or program management.

Experience:

  • Proven track record in managing childcare or educational programs.
  • Experience in fundraising and community engagement.
  • Ability to thrive in a diverse and dynamic environment.

Additional Requirements:

  • Must meet state qualifications for childcare center directors.
  • Valid driver's license and background clearances are required.
