About PLAN

PLAN is dedicated to the mission of ensuring that every low-income resident in Pennsylvania has access to comprehensive civil legal services. As the principal leader, the CEO will coordinate efforts among eight independent regional legal aid programs and six specialized legal aid initiatives, fostering a unified approach to service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide visionary leadership and strategic oversight to enhance the effectiveness of the PLAN network.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including legal associations, state agencies, and philanthropic organizations.
  • Manage the organization’s budget, ensuring financial integrity and accountability across all programs.
  • Advocate for the needs of low-income clients and promote legislative initiatives that support access to justice.
  • Foster a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion within the organization, ensuring that all voices are heard and valued.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of effective communication strategies to elevate PLAN’s visibility and impact.
