The Role

As the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of The Neighborhood Center of the United Methodist Church, you will be instrumental in upholding the center's values and mission. Reporting to the Board of Directors, you will work closely with them and directly report to the President. Your responsibilities will encompass various areas:

Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership (30%):
  • Articulate and communicate an inspiring vision for the organization.

Financial Stewardship (20%):
  • Collaborate with the Treasurer to ensure financial stability and compliance.
  • Identify diverse funding sources and cultivate strong donor relationships.
Community and Stakeholder Engagement (20%):
  • Serve as the primary spokesperson for the organization.
  • Effectively nurture relationships with various stakeholders.
Program and Operations Management (15%):
  • Design and implement community-focused programs.
  • Ensure efficient daily operations and maintenance planning.
Human Resource Management (15%):
  • Implement talent development strategies and review personnel policies.
  • Recruit and train a dedicated workforce.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and ensure adherence to policies.
Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree plus three years of relevant experience; Master's degree preferred.
