PSC Biotech, a leading provider of life sciences services, is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Professional. Based in North America, this role offers a unique opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the company's growth and success.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in selling professional services in validation, quality, engineering, and related areas. A proven track record of achieving sales goals and a deep understanding of regulatory standards and compliance requirements in the life science sector are essential. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills are also crucial for building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a proactive, go-getter attitude and a passion for providing excellent customer service. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing comprehensive business development strategies, driving overall business objectives and growth, and identifying market trends and opportunities in the life science industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and business objectives.
  • Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting client relationships through effective communication and a deep understanding of client requirements.
  • Conducting thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential clients in order to identify key growth areas.
  • Traveling and representing the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to expand our network and visibility within the life science community.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in selling professional services related to validation services, quality, engineering, and so on.
  • Proven success in effectively targeting opportunities for growth, prospecting, and nurturing potential leads.
  • Proven success in achieving sales goals.
  • In-depth knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements in the life science sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of the industry market.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • A goal-oriented approach, with the ability to set goals and develop/drive action plans.

Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
