We are seeking a highly motivated Corporate Account Executive to join our team at Ward Transport & Logistics Corp. as part of our growth efforts. The successful candidate will support the growth of the company through customer retention and new revenue growth.
About the Role
This is a dynamic opportunity for a seasoned sales professional with 3+ years of experience in B2B transportation and logistics sales. As a Corporate Account Executive, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, developing and maintaining customer relationships, and meeting and exceeding sales targets.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive sales and grow revenue.
- Develop and maintain relationship with new and existing customers.
- Meet and exceed sales targets, tracking and managing progress through CRM tools.
- Submit pricing proposals and successfully negotiate contract renewals and rate increases.
- Learn how to sell and position our service offerings, including LTL, Warehouse, Dedicated, Brokerage and Supply Chain services.
- Work closely with internal departments and coworkers to support our go-to-market strategy.
- Adhere to our Cultural Beliefs and represent our brand professionally and ethically.
- Provide exceptional customer service to maintain customer relationships.
- Stay up to date on industry trends, competitive landscape and emerging market opportunities.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in B2B transportation and logistics sales (3+ years preferred).
- Strong understanding of the LTL industry.
- Superb communication skills: written and verbal.
- Self-motivated with a passion for sales and meeting targets.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Office and Excel.
Estimated Salary Range:$60,000 - $80,000 per year
