Vice President of Treasury and Investment Operations

Recruiting Resources, Inc. is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Vice President of Treasury and Investment Operations to lead our newly established team within a prominent global financial services organization.
Work Arrangement: Hybrid model with three days in the office.
Compensation: Competitive total compensation package ranging from $200,000 to $320,000, inclusive of base salary and annual performance bonuses.
This role presents an exceptional opportunity for a self-motivated individual to oversee daily liquidity management and cash forecasting, while also spearheading the evolution of Treasury processes and technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establishing and managing bank accounts, including necessary currency accounts, and overseeing cash sweep options.
- Identifying and cultivating new banking partnerships, ensuring alignment with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Enhancing existing banking relationships to ensure optimal support for the organization.
- Monitoring cash management inputs on a daily basis, including investment pipelines and currency balances.
- Tracking cash movements, including contributions, withdrawals, and associated fees.
- Designing and implementing controls to guarantee accurate recording of all cash transactions.
- Overseeing data feeds between the Treasury Management System (TMS) and other platforms, ensuring data integrity.
- Investigating discrepancies in cash transactions between the organization and banking partners.
- Centralizing all cash and wire transactions for processing, tracking, and auditing purposes.
- Managing portfolio-level credit facility data and cash flow reconciliations.
- Preparing liquidity forecasts by managing various inputs and reconciliations.
- Standardizing liquidity reporting for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Developing and maintaining Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in top-tier global capital markets or investment management firms, with a focus on Treasury Operations and Cash Management.
- In-depth knowledge of liquidity forecasting and cash modeling techniques.
- Familiarity with data management platforms such as Hazeltree, Everest, Wall Street Office, Geneva, and IVP is preferred.
- Experience with a diverse array of investment vehicles, including Institutional Separate Accounts, SMA/Limited Partnerships, and various fund structures.
- Intermediate technical skills in tools such as VBA, SQL, Excel, and Power BI are advantageous.
- Understanding of fundamental accounting principles.
- Experience collaborating with financial intermediaries, including investment banks and broker/dealers.
- Proven ability to develop and implement workflows with monitoring controls.
