Role Overview
The Vice President will take on the role of a business analyst within the Operations division, specifically within the Tax and Treasury sector.

This position entails overseeing projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing the Tax and Treasury operations at Oaktree, focusing on continuous improvement, process innovation, and the management of cross-departmental projects.

Key Responsibilities
1. Lead project management efforts, strategic planning, and process documentation.
2. Manage and coordinate all project activities to ensure successful outcomes, including scoping, design, planning, budgeting, and performance metrics.
3. Act as a subject matter expert for processes and technologies relevant to project scopes.
4. Collaborate with various departments to achieve project objectives.
5. Set team and project goals, assess performance, and identify improvement opportunities.
6. Research industry best practices and propose new processes and procedures.
7. Develop and document new processes in partnership with business units, and provide training before transitioning to business-as-usual operations.
8. Oversee risk management and issue resolution in collaboration with business leaders.
9. Work effectively with internal and external stakeholders to define requirements and present solutions to business challenges.
10. Produce operational deliverables and communications for stakeholders, including executive-level reports and presentations.
11. Enhance data management operations for improved efficiency and scalability.
12. Participate in special projects and firm-wide initiatives as directed by management.

Qualifications
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in finance operations, project management, and process enhancement.
- Strong understanding of finance principles, process documentation, and cross-functional operations.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to tackle complex issues.
- Experience handling large datasets, including data manipulation and reconciliations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Visio.
- Proven track record of managing multiple priorities and driving projects to completion independently.
- Familiarity with Scrum, JIRA, or other project management tools is advantageous.

Compensation
- Competitive base salary range of $105,000 - $150,000, along with eligibility for discretionary bonuses, a comprehensive benefits package, and flexible work arrangements.
