Position Summary:
Ruggable is on the lookout for a proactive and seasoned Senior Vice President of Tax Strategy, Treasury, and Risk Management to spearhead a dedicated Tax and Treasury team. This pivotal role within the Accounting and Finance Department encompasses overseeing tax-related matters, treasury functions, and risk management initiatives. Responsibilities include conducting thorough research on tax regulations, ensuring compliance, managing external consultants, and implementing best practices. Additionally, the role involves overseeing cash management, forecasting, and debt obligations, as well as managing insurance policies and vendor relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the tax team to guarantee timely and accurate filing of all tax returns, including income tax, sales and use tax, and property tax reports.
- Foster strong investor relations and ensure the prompt delivery of essential tax documentation.
- Manage banking partnerships and uphold compliance with lender agreements.
- Develop strategies to enhance the company's tax position and optimize lending facilities.
- Oversee cash forecasting and investment strategies for Ruggable.
- Direct all Tax, Treasury, and Risk Management activities for international operations and new ventures.
- Undertake additional responsibilities and special projects as directed by the Chief Financial Officer.
Qualifications:
- Exceptional skills in tax, accounting, and data analysis.
- Comprehensive understanding of US and international tax codes and regulations.
- Experience with US partnership tax laws is essential.
- Proficient in managing credit agreements and cash forecasting.
- Demonstrated experience in corporate income tax compliance for multi-national and multi-state operations.
- Knowledge of transfer pricing principles.
- Proven track record in building and leading high-performing teams.
- Collaborative mindset with a focus on growth.
- Strong analytical abilities and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with capital markets and capital allocation.
- Understanding of cash flow statements.
- Basic knowledge of currency risk management.
- Degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline.
- Experience in banking or treasury functions.
- 8-10 years of experience in tax, treasury, finance, or accounting roles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CPA for the U.S.).
Compensation Package:
- Base salary ranging from $200,000 to $225,000 annually.
- Annual bonus based on role level.
- Employer matching contributions for the company-sponsored 401K plan (up to 3% of base salary).
