Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Financial Analyst to join our team at Anderson Express. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for providing financial analysis and support to help drive business growth and success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support month-end tasks, including fixed assets, journal entries, and reconciliations.
  • Work closely with the shipping department to ensure accurate and timely invoicing of shipments.
  • Monitor and manage accounts receivable, including credits, past dues, and missed payments.
  • Post cash receipts and utilize customer portals to log scheduled future payments and follow up on shipments not scheduled for payment.
  • Support cash forecasting and collaborate with the Controller to ensure accurate financial projections.
  • Troubleshoot problems and work with other departments to drive improvement and implement best practices.
  • Support customer program financial audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Support payroll processing, including verifying information, uploading reports, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Support inventory management pursuits by running daily reports and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Maintain accurate customer master records and create sales orders as needed.
  • Post inventory and labor transactions within the ERP system and perform inventory cycle counts.
  • Continuously learn and improve ERP functions, identify efficiencies, and develop new processes as needed.
  • Provide backup support for the AP Specialist and respond to daily drop-in requests.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or business, or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years of experience in accounting in a manufacturing environment.
  • Exceptional critical thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to recognize changes in patterns and resolve errors.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Comfort with all forms of communication, including in-person, virtual, phone calls, emails, and texting.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Suite of Products and MRP/ERP systems.
