GENERAL OVERVIEW

A Customer Relationship Specialist is dedicated to delivering outstanding service to our walk-in clientele. This role involves fostering client and business connections by proactively suggesting suitable deposit, loan, and various banking solutions. Additionally, you will accurately and efficiently handle customer transactions to ensure a superior service experience by informing them about our banking products, services, and technological advancements.

REPORTS TO: Assistant Branch Manager and Branch Manager

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Deliver exceptional customer service while effectively addressing client concerns.
  2. Exhibit proficiency in understanding and guiding customers regarding consumer deposit offerings and lending options.
  3. Drive sales through walk-in clientele utilizing a structured sales approach and leveraging current technology to enhance both sales and service.
  4. Gather referrals from customers, colleagues, and partners while educating and directing clients to other bank divisions to strengthen relationships and foster collaboration.
  5. Comply with all operational, security, risk, and regulatory policies and procedures.
  6. Demonstrate sound judgment in sales, customer service, relationship management, banking, investments, consumer lending, business banking, business lending, communication, and presentation.
  7. Process daily customer transactions as required.
  8. Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.
  9. Ensure familiarity with and adherence to the provisions of the Bank Secrecy Act and USA PATRIOT Act relevant to this position. Complete all necessary reports associated with these acts and report any observed violations or potential violations to a supervisor or appropriate bank officer.
QUALIFICATIONS
  1. High School Diploma AND a minimum of one (1) year of customer service experience in banking, financial services, or goal-oriented retail sales.

  3. Bachelor's Degree in a business-related field is preferred.
  4. Cash handling experience is preferred but not mandatory.
  5. Familiarity with technology, including mobile and online banking services, is advantageous.
  6. Must be flexible, reliable, service-oriented, and goal-driven.
  7. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential, with excellent written and verbal abilities.
  8. Participation in various bank workshops, seminars, and ongoing education related to banking is required.
  9. Engagement in community organizations and involvement in community projects and events as deemed appropriate.
  10. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
RELATIONSHIPS
  1. Accountable to senior management for fulfilling functions, responsibilities, and proper interpretation of authority.
  2. Extensive interaction with clients, the public, and the community, conducting relationships in a manner that enhances the overall strategy and marketing efforts of the organization.
