Position Overview

This role is designed to enhance IT systems across various business sectors, ensuring improved productivity and seamless information flow throughout the organization. The successful candidate will support the IT team in maintaining system functionality, serve as a senior programmer/analyst for IT applications, and assist users with technology-related challenges.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prioritize safety by adhering to all company and regulatory environmental health and safety policies.
  • Comply with all company initiatives and policies related to operational excellence.
  • Identify and resolve issues faced by programmers and system users.
  • Develop, test, debug, and document application programs.
  • Provide training to users on the functionalities and capabilities of online applications and software.
  • Support the onboarding and training of new IT staff.
  • Stay updated on current IT technologies relevant to the organization's needs.
  • Be available for after-hours support during emergencies.
  • Assist in program management and troubleshooting to prevent service disruptions.
  • Manage changes to all software, data tables, and network configurations for IT applications.
  • Oversee user administration tasks, including new user setup, security level maintenance, user profiles, and termination of access.
  • Support vital record management, including data storage, backup, and recovery procedures.
  • Collaborate with vendors to support additional software applications as necessary.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:
A four-year degree in Computer Information Systems or a related field, coupled with a minimum of three years of experience in a programmer/analyst role.

Skills:
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of interacting with all organizational levels.
  • Instructional skills with the ability to teach others effectively.
  • Adaptability to new methods and technological changes to resolve work-related issues.
  • Proficiency in Superlayer/ProIV programming language.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office products.
  • Demonstrated drive and initiative.
