Key Responsibilities of the Business Systems Analyst:
- Diagnose and resolve issues for programmers and system users.
- Develop, test, troubleshoot, and document application programs.
- Educate users on the functionalities and capabilities of online applications and software.
- Stay updated with the latest IT technologies relevant to the company's needs and infrastructure.
- Support program management and problem resolution to prevent service disruptions.
- Aid in managing changes to all software, data configurations, and network setups for IT applications.
- Assist in user administration tasks including onboarding new users, maintaining security levels, managing user profiles, and revoking user access.
- Contribute to vital record management, including data storage, backup, and recovery processes.
- Collaborate with vendors to support additional software applications as necessary: LIMS, ABS, shop floor data collection.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills of the Business Systems Analyst:
- Experience with MS SQL Server administration: (database management, backup, restoration, archiving, and security).
- Knowledge of Power BI and SSRS.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Integration Services.
- Proficiency in writing and maintaining PowerShell scripts.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exposure to Windows Server, Windows 11, vSphere, etc.
- Background in a manufacturing setting.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of engaging with all organizational levels.
Bonus Qualifications for the Business Systems Analyst:
- Proficiency in Glovia / G2, Syteline, LIMS, and other ERP, MES, and QMS systems.
- Experience with Superlayer / ProIV programming language.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems or a related field.
