Description

This position is dedicated to optimizing IT systems across diverse operational sectors, enhancing efficiency, and facilitating effective information flow within the organization. The successful candidate will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation of systems, serving as a senior analyst/programmer, and aiding users in resolving technical challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Comply with all corporate and regulatory environmental, health, and safety policies and procedures.
  • Engage in corporate initiatives and practices aimed at continuous improvement.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues for both programmers and system users.
  • Design, test, troubleshoot, and document software applications.
  • Provide user training on digital applications and software tools.
  • Support the onboarding process for new IT staff.
  • Stay informed about current IT advancements relevant to the organization's requirements.
  • Be available for after-hours support during emergencies.
  • Contribute to program management and problem-solving to avert service interruptions.
  • Supervise modifications to software, data structures, and network settings for IT applications.
  • Oversee user management tasks including account setup, security maintenance, and privilege termination.
  • Manage critical record handling such as data storage, backup, and recovery protocols.
  • Collaborate with vendors to implement additional software solutions as necessary.
  • Perform other assigned duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems or a related discipline, coupled with at least three years of experience in a programming/analyst role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills for interaction with all organizational levels.
  • Capability to instruct and mentor others effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Motivation, initiative, and flexibility to adopt new technologies and tackle work-related challenges.
  • Experience with ERP, MES, and QMS systems, including Glovia/G2 and Syteline Cloud.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to address complex issues and convert data into user-friendly applications.
  • Familiarity with MS SQL Server administration and SQL programming.
  • Experience with Power BI report management, Microsoft Integration Services, and PowerShell scripting.

Additional Information:

Occasional work outside standard business hours may be required.

Physical demands: The role necessitates the ability to remain stationary frequently and occasionally move within an office setting. Routine operation of office equipment such as computers, scanners, and printers is expected. Reasonable accommodations can be made for individuals with disabilities.
