Key Responsibilities:
As a vital member of our Tax team, you will play a strategic role in overseeing high-level tax operations, managing client relationships, and developing team members. Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Preparation and review of tax returns for Individuals, Partnerships, Trusts, Corporations, and S Corporations.
- Assisting with tax planning initiatives.
- Overseeing, training, and mentoring team members.
- Networking with local businesses and community stakeholders.
- Managing tax engagements and ensuring quality control.
- Reviewing work papers and financial statements for various engagements.
- Providing accounting solutions for small privately held businesses.
- Contributing to firm-wide strategic planning and objectives.
- Engaging in community business development activities.
- Performing additional duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- Active CPA license.
- At least 8 years of relevant public accounting experience.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
