Key Responsibilities of the Business Systems Analyst:
- Diagnose and resolve issues for developers and system users.
- Develop, test, troubleshoot, and document software applications.
- Educate users on the functionalities and capabilities of online applications and software.
- Stay updated with the latest IT technologies relevant to the company's needs and systems.
- Support program management and issue resolution to prevent service disruptions.
- Aid in managing modifications to all software, data configurations, and network settings for IT applications.
- Assist in user management, including new user setup, security level maintenance, user profiles, and revocation of user access.
- Help manage critical record systems, including data storage, backup, and recovery protocols.
- Collaborate with vendors to provide support for additional software applications as necessary.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications of the Business Systems Analyst:
- Knowledge of MS SQL Server administration, including database management, backup, restoration, archiving, and security.
- Familiarity with Power BI and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
- Proficient in Microsoft Integration Services.
- Capability to write and maintain PowerShell scripts.
- Acquainted with Microsoft Office suite.
- Exposure to Windows Server, Windows 11, vSphere, etc.
- Experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with all organizational levels.
Bonus Skills of the Business Systems Analyst:
- Proficiency in Glovia / G2, Syteline, LIMS, and other ERP, MES, and QMS systems.
- Experience with Superlayer / ProIV programming language.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems or a related discipline.
