Position Overview:

As a vital member of our Tax team, this role will encompass strategic oversight of high-level tax functions, management of client relationships, and development of team members. Key responsibilities will include tax planning, review of individual and business tax returns, fostering a local professional network, strategic engagement planning, quality control, and mentoring junior staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparation and review of Individual, Partnership, Trust, Corporation, and S Corporation tax returns
  • Support in tax planning initiatives
  • Oversight, training, and development of team members
  • Networking with local businesses and community stakeholders
  • Management of tax engagements
  • Review of work papers and financial statements for various engagements
  • Accounting solutions for small privately held businesses
  • Participation in firm-wide strategic planning and objectives
  • Community business development initiatives
  • Additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • Active CPA license
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant public accounting experience
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities
