Job Title: Medical Administrative Assistant

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Medical Administrative Assistant to join our team at Pleasant Ridge Internal Medicine. This is a full-time position, working Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Responsibilities:
* Provide exceptional patient care and support by performing various administrative tasks, including verifying patient information, preparing patients for examination, and maintaining accurate medical records.
* Maintain a safe and organized work environment by inventorying stock, ordering supplies, and performing preventive maintenance on equipment.
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and efficient patient flow.

Requirements:
* High school diploma or equivalent required; certified medical assistant (CMA) certification preferred.
* 1+ years of experience in a medical office setting; experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems a plus.
* Strong communication and organizational skills; ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
