Medical Office Coordinator

We are currently seeking a highly organized and communicative Medical Office Coordinator to join our team at Axelon. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our medical office, ensuring seamless interactions between patients, doctors, and other stakeholders.
Main Responsibilities:
Scheduling and coordinating patient appointments, meetings, and registrations with accuracy and professionalism.
Effective communication and resolution of patient concerns, issues, or queries via phone, email, or in-person.
Coordinating insurance verifications, preauthorizations, and billing processes to ensure timely payment and minimal delays.
Manage and maintain accurate, comprehensive, and up-to-date medical records for each patient.
Prepare and arrange necessary documents, charts, and equipment for clinic sessions and procedures.
Providing general administrative support to physicians, practice manager, and other staff members as required.
Necessary Skills & Qualifications:
•High school diploma or equivalent required.
•Two years of experience in an office/clerical setting, preferably in primary care/office or surgical scheduling environments.
•Demonstrated proficiency in using Epic EMR systems and other software applications.
•Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
