Administrative Coordinator for Facilities and Engineering

Job Summary:

The Reno organization is seeking a highly skilled and organized individual to fill the role of Engineering Coordinator. This position will report to the Executive Director of Engineering and the Engineering Chiefs, and will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Director of Facilities and Chief Engineer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate all incoming calls, directing work requests and emergency calls to the chief engineer and shift supervisor.
  • Work closely with the corporate and property team to coordinate and provide assistance as requested.
  • Develop and implement new recommendations based on proven method analysis.
  • Ensure timely and efficient delivery of work, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal and external guests, demonstrating a positive attitude and flexibility in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exemplify the company's core values, mission, and vision, as well as its DEI culture.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High school education or equivalent preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to read, write, and speak fluent English.
  • 1-3 years of experience with computer skills, including Excel spreadsheets, Microsoft Word, and database management.
  • Excellent record-keeping and phone skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work in a team environment.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time.
  • Ability to maneuver to all areas of the organization, including properties.
  • Ability to perform physical job duties of line employees in emergency situations.
  • Ability to respond calmly and make rational decisions in stressful situations.
